How the check works

Connect
Our server connects to each proxy and detects whether it speaks HTTP or SOCKS5.

Fetch
Through the proxy we load an IP echo page over HTTPS, or plain HTTP if it can't tunnel.

Locate
The address that page sees is the exit IP. We look up where it is and which network it belongs to.
